Description
In the summer 2018, the Swiss company Swissgrid moved into their new headquarters in the capital of the energy canton of Aargau in Switzerland. The new headquarters is built on the former Electrolux site and it has been designed by the Aarau architects' office Schneider & Schneider Architekten ETH BSA SIA AG.
The flooring choice for the major part of the large company building fell on the high quality carpet tiles from Fletco Carpets. Fletco Carpets has delivered around 5900 m2 carpet tiles for the new company building: the major part of the carpet tiles has been delivered in the carpet quality Nordic and as the special carpet tile shape ZigZag-Tiles® and a smaller part in the carpet quality Classic Weave, also in the shape ZigZag-Tiles®. As this carpet tile shape has been selected, the carpet tiles give an effect of a broadloom with minimal visible joints. In addition, a digitally printed special design has been made and delivered as larger carpet tiles for some conference rooms.
