Description
In 2018 Denmark’s biggest airport, Copenhagen Airport, started to expand the airport so that it in the future can serve far more passengers and baggage than earlier. The expansion has been divided into two phases – in the second phase a 10,000 m2 large baggage terminal called Baggage Factory West has been built. The new Baggage Factory West contains a basement, the baggage terminal on the ground/first floor, a canteen on the second floor and offices on the third floor.
On the upper floor with the offices, 120 fixed work stations, meeting rooms etc. are placed and for this floor Fletco Carpets has delivered around 1200 m2 flatwoven carpet tiles in the carpet quality COM 1000 TEXtiles®. The carpet tiles have been installed by the Danish company AG Gulve.
MT Højgaard has been responsible for the all-inclusive contract and has worked closely together with the engineering company SWECO and the architects RUBOW Arkitekter.
